Want to know what it’s like to stay at the Orbit One Vacation Villas in Orlando, Florida?
Orbit One Vacation Villas is a small resort just outside of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
All rooms are either 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom suites with full kitchens and in-unit laundry.
These are perfect for week-long stays, larger families, and friends traveling together to Disney World and the local Orlando area attractions.
Orbit One Vacation Villas Review
During a recent visit to Orlando to visit family, I decided to check out another Hilton Vacation Club resort in the area.
My goal is to eventually stay in all of them and I am well on my way.
At first I wasn’t sure what to think of the resort because it’s not very popular and it looks like it’s older, but this is definitely a place I’ll stay at again on future trips.
I absolutely love the location and it’s proximity to the Disney World theme parks and resorts.
It’s as close as you can get to staying on property without being on property.
Much of the resort has been recently renovated and the rooms were quite similar to the Aqua Sol resort down the street.
It’s themed to a mid-century modern + space theme – kind of like Tomorrowland.
Having a full kitchen and a private bedroom makes it feel like a more luxurious stay than just your typical hotel room.

2 Bedroom Villas
During my stay I opted for the 2 bedroom villa to give my sister the option to stay with me on the days we were visiting the theme parks for convenience.
I only stayed 2 nights, but it was definitely enough time to get a feel for the resort and it’s amenities.
My room was right in-between the main pool and a playground, but it was not noisy.
There was also plenty of parking outside of my room.

Kitchen and Dining Room
The kitchen was large, open, and brand new with all updated appliances.
It comes fully stocked with plates, bowls, cups, utensils, and cookware.
If there’s something else you need, the front desk likely has it.
Even though I didn’t cook any meals during this stay, I liked having a full sized fridge to keep a case of bottled water cold and a place to put my Disney Springs leftovers for later.
There is also a large dining room table in a big, open space.

Living Room
The living room is in the same big, open space as the kitchen and dining table.
The in-unit laundry is also in a small closet in this area.
There’s not really anything special about the living room, but there’s plenty of seating and there’s a screened in porch off the back of the living room.
The couch doubles as a sleeper sofa too.

Primary Bedroom and Bathroom
The primary bedroom has a king sized bed and the room layout actually reminded me more of a converted attic space because of the angled ceilings.
It’s a large room with lots of extra space to exercise or set up a crib or just sprawl out all of your stuff.
You have direct access to the patio space from this bedroom as well.
The primary bathroom is attached to this room and it is on the smaller side, but it’s not a tight space.
There is only a shower in this bathroom, no bath tub.

Second Bedroom and Bathroom
The second bedroom is off of the kitchen and has 2 twin beds.
There is also a second full bathroom that is across the hallway.
This bathroom has a good sized bath tub and shower.

Overall Experience
Orbit One Vacation Villas may look a little old and worn down on the outside, but the newly remodeled resort is actually a great hidden gem right outside of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.
The pool fits the mid-century modern space theme and is a popular hangout for resort guests, so definitely plan at least a couple hours to fit this into your schedule.
I prefer primary bathrooms that also have a jacuzzi tub, which most Hilton Vacation Club resorts have, but it’s by no means a deal breaker.
The location, availability of parking, and quality of the villa itself makes it top tier in my book.
It’s a very affordable option considering how centrally located it is and how much space you get with the 2 bedroom villa.

Conclusion: Orbit One Vacation Villas Review
Orbit One Vacation Villas is a great place to stay when you’re visiting Disney World on an extended stay or with a large group.
Having the amenities of a full kitchen and in-unit laundry at the same price of a regular hotel room is a great perk of staying here.
All the rooms are newly renovated and there are a ton of amenities for entertainment around the property.
